A compatible replacement for the Whirlpool EveryDrop Filter 1, sold under the codes EDR1RXD1 and W10295370A. This is the internal twist-in cartridge fitted to a wide range of Whirlpool, Maytag, KitchenAid, Amana, Jenn-Air and Kenmore fridge-freezers. It installs in the existing filter housing with a quarter turn and needs no tools or pipe cutting. The carbon block media reduces chlorine taste and odour, sediment and particulates from your drinking water and ice. Replace it every six months for consistent flow and clean-tasting water. Please note this is the twist-in W10295370A style cartridge. The older push-button Whirlpool codes 4396841 and 4396710 belong to a different filter family and are not interchangeable with this part, so check your existing cartridge shape before ordering.
