This compatible filter set refreshes the airflow on Shark Rotator and DuoClean Powered Lift-Away Speed upright vacuums. It contains the round foam and felt pre-motor filters that sit under the dust cup, plus the HEPA post-motor exhaust filter, matching Shark part numbers XFF680 (foam and felt) and XHF680 (HEPA). Clogged or worn filters are the usual reason a Shark loses suction, so swapping the set is a quick way to restore performance. The foam and felt filters are washable and reusable, while the HEPA filter traps fine dust and pollen on the exhaust side. Rinse the foam and felt monthly and let them dry fully before refitting. As a guide, replace the set roughly every six months with normal household use, sooner in a busy or pet home. Does it fit Shark Anti Hair Wrap AZ models?
Anti Hair Wrap models such as AZ910 and AZ912 use a different filter and are not covered by this XHF680 / XFF680 set.
Can I wash these filters?
The foam and felt pre-motor filters are washable and reusable. Rinse in cold water, squeeze gently and dry fully before refitting. The HEPA filter can be tapped out and given a light rinse if your manual allows.
How often should I change them?
As a guide, replace the set about every six months with normal use, more often in a pet or high-traffic home, especially if suction drops.
