About this part
This compatible lower door seal replaces the worn bottom gasket on a wide range of Bosch, Neff and Siemens dishwashers in the SMS, SMV and SMI ranges. The seal runs along the bottom edge of the door and stops water escaping onto the floor or tracking back into the control area during a wash. The set arrives as a one-piece apron seal with the two end sealing caps and a pair of retaining clips, so it fits the same way as the genuine Bosch part 00668079. It is a direct alternative to OEM codes 00668079 and 00680570. Fit it when you see drips from the base of the door, a perished or hardened strip, or pooling water after a cycle. No special tools are needed, though the lower kick plate usually has to come off first. Always check your appliance E-Nr against the fitment list before ordering.
